Babymoon lookbook

Finding maternity clothes that I feel good in is something I’ve found quite difficult throughout my pregnancy. I’ve found that bodycon clothes are infinitely better than big, baggy outfits. The beautiful sunshine we got on our babymoon meant that it was time to sort out some summery maternity clothes, so I thought I’d put together a lookbook of some of the outfits I wore on my babymoon

Dress (H&M, £7.99) – this dress isn’t actually maternity, I wore it as a beach cover-up. I couldn’t find this exact pattern on the website but the link is to those similar. Sandals (ASOS, £16.00), Backpack (Longchamp, £56.00)

I spent a lot of time looking for some good maternity swimwear. I didn’t feel comfortable in a maternity bikini, and I quickly realised that tankinis were the way forward – not restrictive over bump and I think they’re more flattering than a one-piece swimsuit.

Tankini top (ASOS, £24.00), Foldover bikini bottoms (ASOS, £14.00), Sandals (ASOS, £16.00) – The tankini top comes with a detachable halterneck strap and yes, I may have gotten a little sunburnt…

So, this is not a good picture of my outfit, but I don’t seem to have any others… It was taken on one of the little side streets in Lisbon, which I loved. Leggings have been a pregnancy wardrobe staple for me, and combined with a simple t-shirt, this outfit was really comfy and easy to wear – perfect for exploring the city.

Top (New Look, £8.99), Leggings (ASOS, £10.00), Backpack (Longchamp, £56.00), Sandals (Dr Martens, £80.00)
